Teaching with Primary Sources-MTSU is excited to announce the six educators from Tennessee who will be participating in the TPS Civil Rights Fellowship. The Tennessee cohort will include Connie Fink and Anna Stern (University School of Nashville), Ashli Burton and Jessica Watson (White House High School – Sumner County Schools), and Rustin Jones and Jason Shelton (Greeneville Middle School – Greeneville City Schools). These educators will work with cohorts from North Carolina and South Carolina over the next two years to design educational resources to support the teaching of the long civil rights struggle. This project is a partnership between the TPS programs at Mars Hill University, the University of South Carolina, and MTSU.
